Hi, I’m on WordPress 4.5.3, using the Influence theme with Pagebuilder. So far everything has been working really well until I started adding testimonials in the testimonial widget and changing design options. I specify a white text color on a colored background. All looks good in preview but when I save it and then refresh the site the text is dark grey #646360. It seems as if something is overriding it.

To clarify, did you set the font color via the widget styles or in the widget settings itself?
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.
Would it be possible for you to send me an export for this widget? To do this open up the page with the widget and click layout. Then click import / export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.

I set the text color in the Testimonials Widget color settings. I also tried the font color settings in the text editor as well as under the Widgets design setting. None worked.
I thought I’d try changing themes to your Vantage theme and found that the testimonial text color displayed correctly as formatted.

As I’m using localhost for this site so unfortunately can’t provide a link. I have however disabled all plugins bar Siteorigins as well as reinstalling the Influence theme without any success.

Sorry for the delay.
Just had a look at the layout and the color is coming through for me as desired. Did you maybe add some custom CSS that would be overriding the color?
