I know this is a classic problem, but I still encounter it. I have followed the instructions on your documentation Home Page Slider and Hero Image Widget and disabled the Masthead Bottom Margin as instructed. When I did this, the height of the space between the menu and the slider reduced, but did not disappear completely. I also tried several css examples on the support forum thread but it’s not working. Your help is very much appreciated.

apologies for late reply. The site is currently in staging phase, so we do not have a publicly available link to it, and that is why I was not able to respond to you earlier. However, we will do a trial launch starting probably tomorrow to get some feedback for improvements before migrating into our live site. The trial launch of the staging site will probably be within a week time frame.
While working on the website redevelopment, I realise that the contact form widget of the Vantage theme does not work. I tried to test it by filling out the form, but it does not arrive on the web admin email inbox. And also, is there a way to add additional receivers of the contact form content/notification?
I am contemplating to purchase the SiteOrigin Premium package for the current staging site, but I am wondering if it would work on my live site once I migrate or if I have to purchase another licence for the live site.
In addition to removing the space between the menu and the hero image, I would also like to remove the space between the hero image and the social media widget below it. Could you help me with this please?

You can change this with some custom CSS. If you navigate to AppearanceCustom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Please add the following CSS:
.layout-full .panel-row-style.panel-row-style-full-width { padding-top: 0; padding-bottom: 0; }You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.

Please open the row housing the hero widget and head over to the row styles sidebar. Open the Layout settings group and set the Bottom Margin to 0.

Your subscription will work on both sites – you don’t need to worry about purchasing another license. Ideally, to make things easier for you I would recommend not activating SiteOrigin Premium on the staging site.
