Hi,
first of all, great decision to support Elementor and make SO widgets compatible with that plugin. However … :) :
Elementor’s side panel gets resized by SO WB styles (from 260px to 400px) which stretches over the page preview, and makes section/columns edit buttons not visible (at least for first column) – see the image here:
I made panel semi-transparent in Dev. tools to illustrate this.
I understand you probably made panel wider to make SO controls display ok (like icons select), but this is a bit too obtrusive, don’t you think ?
That alone made me postpone go wild with SO + Elementor :)
Best,
Alen,

oh. the image didn’t display … I’ll try again – SEE THE IMAGE HERE
Any chance you checked this ? It should be really easy for you, especially compared to all work you’ve done with compatibility (so far) … :)
Hi Micemade,
Sorry for the delay. We somehow must have missed this thread – sorry about that!
I can’t seem to find any code that would increase the size so I suspect Elementor may be resizing it automatically. Regardless, I’m going to log a UX issue for fluid fields in Elementor. In the meantime, I would recommend resizing the Elementor interface back to its initial sizing.
Ok, thanks.
I understand premium users have priority over non-premium. However, these UX issues have impact on both.
Great move btw, to make SO widgets compatible with Elementor and Beaver, good for promotion of your product (IMO, anyway) :)
Cheers
Hi Alen,
Just writing to let you know that this issue has been labeled a priority 1 – it should be resolved soon.
To clarify, we weren’t ignoring you because you’re a free user, we seriously just missed your post. I’m sorry mate. :(
