Sliders in different language versions

I have a site kuppari.fi and I have made both Finnish and English language versions of the site. I have the front page in both languages, I have created two sliders (because on the slides there’s some overlaid text). I have set the appropriate slider in page attributes, but I always get one or the other slider, not the language version.

How to get the slider reflect the correct language version?

    Hi Iskanje,

    Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without a fair amount of custom coding. This is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on our forums, but you could hire a developer to implement this for you. With that said, I would recommend not using the Vantage Meta Slider functionality in this instance and instead manually add the slider to your page via a widget. It’s not as ideal but it’ll avoid this technical limitation.

    We recommend using Codeable. You’ll be able to hire someone at an hourly rate to do this work for you.

    Thanks, I tried that, works great, but then there’s a gap between the menu and the slider. Can that be removed somehow through the settings, or does it require coding?

    Hi Iskanje,

    Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

    Here’s the demo site link with the white space above slider visible: https://kupparihanna.demo.site/

    BTW, is it possible to have the language versions on the Footer as well?

    Hi Iskanje,

    Please disable the Page Settings Bottom Margin settings in the page settings for that page.

    Then please add the following CSS to WP AdminAppearanceCustom CSS:

    .layout-full .panel-row-style.panel-row-style-full-width {
    	padding-top: 0;
    	padding-bottom: 0;
    }

    You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.

    You can do the same in the footer by adding the slider to a Layout Builder widget (I would strongly recommend rebuilding your footer inside of a layout builder completely).
