Slider arrows not showing on mobile—please help!

4 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 4 years ago

Hi. I have checked the box for the arrows to show on mobile but no luck.
Autoplay is off.
I saw the code below on another post about this but it still does not work.
All advice appreciated. Thanks in advance!

@media screen and (max-width:600px) {
.sow-carousel-title a.sow-carousel-next,.sow-carousel-title a.sow-carousel-previous {
display: block !important;
}
}

    Hi Marc

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

    Hi. Thanks for your reply. Here is an example:

    These are all sliders but no arrows in mobile view.

    Thanks for the link. The issue is most likely the following rule:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .work .sow-slider-base .sow-slide-nav .sow-sld-icon-thin-right, .work .sow-slider-base .sow-slide-nav .sow-sld-icon-thin-left {
        display: none;
        }
    }

    Hope that helps!

    Thank you! I looked for this but can't find it in my Sublime Custom CSS.
    Elsewhere?

    Sure, no problem.

    The rule is located in your theme name – /assets/css/stylesheet.css

    Thank you. I went into Cpanel but the CSS files don't seem to contain that.
    Hmm. Sorry, but is there something I'm doing wrong?

    No problem. The rule is in the parent theme. Here is a screenshot showing the location https://imgur.com/a/E2EiBgS.

    We can point the way within our free support scope but unfortunately due to resource limitations can’t dive too deep into custom challenges.

    Hi again, Andrew. I've tried everything and I just can't find the code you've pointed out anywhere.
    I really don't get it… I'm sure I'm overlooking something simple.
    If I restarted my membership, is this something you'd be able to help me with?
    Thank you.
