SiteOrigin widgets not working/available – can’t edit pages using PageBuilder

Hi there,

I’m getting what seems to be the same issue as in this thread:

SiteOrigin Editor not working after update

I can’t see the SiteOrigin editing option for pages, and can’t seem to switch between visual & text editor. The code for the widgets themselves seems to be embedded in the code which I can see in the text editor. I can’t save any changes, even if I delete all the SiteOrigin code and just keep the text.

I’m also getting this error coming up on every page in the back end:

“”A configuration issue prevents CDN from working: The “Authorization key” and “Replace default hostname with” field(s) cannot be empty. You need to select / create a pull zone. Specify it here.””

However if I click “Specify it here”, I just get a page with “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”. I don’t know if this is related.

I’ve tried disabling concatenate scripts but it didn’t work. The site in question is http://cowdreycc.co.uk/.

Thanks in advance for your help

Barney

    Hi Barney,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues after a recent update. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If that doesn’t help, can you try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related?

If that doesn’t help, can you please show me a screenshot of what you see when you try and edit a page built using SiteOrigin Page Builder? Please note that we’re currently unable to process attachments at this time so you’ll need to upload your screenshot to a third party image hosting site like Imgur or vgy.me.

I’m also getting this error coming up on every page in the back end

I’m unsure where this message is coming from but it sounds like a general configuration notice. I would reach out to your hosting provider to see if this is something they can assist you with.

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for the advice – all sorted now :)

I think the problem may have been with a plugin called Toolset Types, which wouldn’t let me update it before without paying for premium – however I was able to update it fine once deactivated. How weird.

Oh well, thanks for your help :) And your quick response!

    Cheers, Barney
