SiteOrigin pages totally broken since WP 5.5 installed.

Hi,
My site has also fallen over since upgrading to 5.5 just like the link below, and the only thing I can think as the issue is SiteOrigin, the pages that are built with SiteOrigin don’t work and the homepage loads back in, no matter which of 4/5 pages from the top menu are selected.

This is a major issue to us as we’re a video game developer and use our site for requirement and selling ourselves as such I need to get this back up and running ASAP.

Also, our frontpage is broken…

Home Page

Note the images below the top of the page are meant to …

a) parallax
b) fill the width of the browser window

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Stewart

I can see a JavaScript error on the home page site front-end from a plugin called WP Lightbox 2. Try seeking a working baseline. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except for those authored by SiteOrigin, does the issue persist in that state?

hey, what's weird is I've just switched off a bunch of the plugins then posted to your page, then came back to a different tab and hit F5 now the site is partially working again.

I thought I had actually canned WPLB2 ages ago.

    I'll keep checking

    Hi, I Work Here

If you could confirm by deactivating all non-SiteOrigin plugins at once, that would be helpful. If you’re using caching/optimization plugins, clear them first. Thanks.

so I took it back to base and it all worked, so re-added plugins and it still works!

I'm at a loss then what had caused it… I did have cache but I disabled that last night when I saw the site broken.

actually, the only thing missing right now is the google map on our contact us page.

    Hi, I Work Here

If the issue re-occurs, perhaps check your PHP memory usage to see if you’re close to the overall or WP max https://wordpress.org/plugins/server-ip-memory-usage/.

I don’t see evidence of a map in the contact page source, was it added to the page via a widget?

Yeah it was via a widget… I’ve had to go out now, but will check when I get back

    Hi, I Work Here

Perhaps edit the page, check the widget is in place, and editable. Check the console for any errors related to the widget while editing the page https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis.

    Morning,
So this is interesting… I Got to the pages backend and select our
"Contact Us" page, which is a site builder page. However when I click on the "Edit" to edit the Site Origins content (using SiteOrigins Tabs btw)
it just goes to a page with this in the top left… (hoping this screenshot comes through) if not it has the date and time in the top left corner of an empty page.

Hi Stew, unfortunately, due to spam issues we don’t currently support screenshots on the forum. You’re welcome to upload to Drive or Dropbox or imgur.com and send us the link.

This sounds like a Wordfence issue, please, see our short guide to resolving the problem Thread: Date appearing when trying to edit widgets in Page Builder.
