SiteOrigin Hero – Buttons not showing up

Hi there

I’ve just been playing around with rows on the front page of a site I’m building.

My aim is to add a row that has text and a background video. I’ve managed to do this with SiteOrigin Hero row and PushLabs Video Background plugin.

I add all the entries in the SiteOrigin Hero widget for the button; text, URL, formatting etc. But the button isn’t showing (on the row ‘Your neighbourhood friendly cafe’).

I have got it working before (see – http://pm2media.co.uk/ row ‘Who we are’).

Can anyone help?

    Thanks for posting.

    Looks like you’ve made progress. If not, have you added the [buttons] shortcode to the Content field?

    Oo I haven’t. What would the shirt code be?

    Whenever I’ve used the SiteOrigin Hero in the past. I’ve added information for buttons within the places widget and they’ve appeared fine.

    That’s what I did this time too?

    Hi :) When I glanced at your page earlier, it looked like this was already place. But just in case it isn’t, here is how inserting buttons works.

    The shortcode is [buttons].

    How strange, I don;t normally have to use short code on SiteOrigins Hero. but it works so who cares!
