Hi,
I’ve just installed Page Builder on a fresh new site and it appears the SiteOrigin Editor widget is not displaying the text colour palette:
However in the normal page editor it works:
It’s a fresh install running the Twenty Seventeen theme, all other plugins disabled.
I’ve also noticed it doesn’t pull through the editor style too (via add_editor_style), again something the standard editor does.
Images didn’t work…

Did a little more experimenting, looks like the colour palette’s popup is being hidden by the Page Builder window, a quick change to the admin CSS made it pop above the widget modal:
.mce-floatpanel{ z-index:500000 !important; }
However still can’t make the editor load styles via “add_editor_style” and custom colour palettes specified via “tiny_mce_before_init” aren’t working either.
Hi Monio,
Are you using the latest version of SiteOrigin Page Builder (2.5.10) and SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle (1.9.6)? If not, please try updating and if that doesn’t help, please try clearing your browser cache.
Yes, everything is fully up to date – it’s a clean install of WordPress just a week ago.
I’m also experiencing an issue where it won’t activate custom widgets either, shows them in the bundle list but when I activate them and refresh the page it says deactive. There are no javascript errors that I can see – not sure if this is related.
