Siteorigin conflict

4 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 4 years ago

Hello,

I’ve been using Siteorigin for a long time in my website. Yesterday I’ve logged into my wordpress admin panel and when I tried to edit a page, just appeared the text version and the visual panel, but not the Siteorigin. I’ve tried to disable all the plugins as mention in other threads and It wasn’t working, but I’ve discovered that if I change the wordpress theme then starts working.

I don’t know why it’s happening that, it’s the same theme since the beginning. I’ve also used the google chrome developers tool to look if there is an error and that’s what appears.

Do you know what’s happening?

Thanks in advance

    Hello,

I’ve discovered that was a problem with the theme not with the siteorigin, now it’s solved.

    Thanks

Hi, thanks for reaching out. It sounds like your theme might be producing a JavaScript error which in turn is impacting plugins that use JavaScript such as Page Builder. If you temporarily deactivate all plugins including Page Builder and then edit a page, are there errors present in the console in red text? https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis
