I have a client whose site was originally built by Web.com and it uses SiteOrigin. It has been moved away to Web.com and I am trying to edit the footer but can’t find where to do that. There is no “Footer” option under “Customize” or anywhere else that I can find. Do I have to manually edit a footer.php file? The site is southernsignsusa.com
Any help or guideance is appreciated.
Gary
Hi Gary
Thanks for posting your question.
The footer widget is editable from AppearanceWidgets: Footer or AppearanceCustomizeWidgets.

Andrew,
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, it doesn’t help me. I already found the document you referenced. However, in this case, when I follow the instructions, the only widget shown is “Blog Sidebar”. No Footer, Header, or anything else. Web.com created the Theme, so I guess they did something funky. If you have any other ideas, please let me know.

Hi Gary
Thanks for the update. I’ve taken another look, a bit deeper this time. The theme in use appears completely custom. Apologies; the Vantage documentation isn’t applicable; Vantage isn’t in use. The info you’re after might be hard-coded. You can download the theme folder from your server from /wp-content/themes/ and do an in-folder search.
