Hi,
I am trying to tweak something on the home page of a site that is under construction . It’s the Features Widget > More Link text… I am trying to style it to be bold, turn orange on the hover action and lose the underline. I actually managed to get the bold to work by just adding some inline html directly to the text in the Features Widget editor, but wasn’t sure how far I could go with that and thought there must be an easier way. Is there?
I tried targeting the item and using the Additional CSS editor to apply the styling I wanted, which worked fantastically in the editor view, but as soon as I published it, the styling disappeared. I used “!important”, but that didn’t seem to make any difference. Any clues as to what I am doing wrong? Or any suggestions how I can get it to work?
This is the code I tried (it’s still in there)…
.sow-features-feature p.sow-more-text a:hover {
text-decoration: none !important;
color: #ea662f !important;
}
But as you will see, it’s not working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
Lyndelle

Actually, it does mostly seem to be working. I don’t know what happened there. When I first tried it, as I said it was fine in the CSS Editor view, but not so fine when I saved and loaded the real page. But I have just looked at it now and it seems to mostly be working. No worries…
Hi Lyndelle
Sorry, we missed this one. Thanks for keeping us updated. Glad to hear your styling is applying now.
