Hi there,
I’ve just started on Baseline theme –Great work by the way!!!– and I am following your explaining video. I would like to ask you, at the Hero Frame, the video talks about the shortcode [buttons] that I can modify or even delete it. I would like to know if I can put a ‘Search Textbox + Button’ shortcode there, and how. Do I need to install any other widget?
Thank you.
Hi again,
I know I am not Premium yet but… I am still waiting.
Thank you.
By the way, I have notice an error Baseline template, in the branding area. I guess everybody did.
Hi Abladb,
Unfortunately, this isn’t possible with the SiteOrgin Hero widget as it’s only setup with an editor and button support. You can, however, do this with the SiteOrigin Layout Slider (which allows you to add widgets) but this will require remaking the hero widget (note: you can add Hero widgets to the layout slider). Can’t see this widget in the add widget screen? Please navigate to WP AdminPluginsSiteOrigin Widgets and activate it.
Could you please elaborate on the error?
The error I’ve found has to do with the title of my page and its logo, at Theme Settings > Branding. If I put it on, the title disappears. Therefore, I understand that only an image that includes logo and title would be viable. I do not see it correct, and so I think it’s a mistake.
Hi Abladb,
Thank you. That was technically intended but we’ve received quite a bit of feedback that this isn’t desired so we’ll be making changes in the near future to allow for the logo and site title to remain.
