Hi Site Origin,
On a mobile device the menu displays the text “Menu” next to the hamburger icon. I don’t want any text next to the icon.
Is there a customisation option somewhere for this? The only way I’ve found to remove this so far is to remove
.$text['navigate']from inc/mobilenav/mobilenav.php on line 75.
If not, may I suggest a feature to remove text or customise it here.
Thank you
Hi Chris
Thanks for getting in touch. The Menu text can be used using Custom CSS. Please, see Page: CSS Snippets.
Hi Andrew,
I should have mentioned that I’d already seen that. That solution doesn’t actually remove the text. It simply hides it by colouring it the same as the background.
What you end up with it still the gap where the text still is.
Thank you.
Hi Chris
Thanks for the feedback.
The menu markup will have to be altered to make further changes. I’ve logged the issue at the below URL: https://github.com/siteorigin/vantage/issues/434. The issue will be updated as soon as it has been attended to. The update will be released in the next Vantage release.
Hi,
Was there an update for this? Was this feature added?
Thank you.
Hi Chris
Thanks for your reply. The change was merged and released. You can find a Custom CSS rule here Page: CSS Snippets.
