Remove date and author on Post Loop Widget

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

I have two Post Loop Widgets, each on a seperate page. I would like to remove the author and date on ONE widget/page only. Is there a way I can do this without using global css which removes the date and author on both pages?

Thanks.

    Hi David

    Thanks for reaching out.

If you’re able to write the CSS you need are just wanting to restrict that change to one Post Loop then I have a blog post for you :) Please, see my quick tutorial here Post: Unique Page Styling with Custom CSS Body Classes.

.page-id-xx is most like the body class you’ll be using where xx is the page ID.

    Awesome, works perfectly! Thank you.

Please can I also ask another question?

How can I add content (links) to the Bottom Bar (NOT the Footer) in SiteOrigin Corp theme?

The site is here for reference:

    https://www.ecoself.net <https://www.ecoself.net/>

I want to add a link on the right-hand side of the bottom bar opposite the year and sitename text.

    Thank you.

    Dave

Super, glad to hear you’re making progress.

There is a footer menu location. You can assign a menu to that location from AppearanceMenusMenu Locations.

    Page: Menus
