Recent SiteOrigin Update changed my Hero Images to Full Width

7 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 7 years ago

Hi SiteOrigin,
Recently my hero images went from container width to full browser width and I don’t know how to fix.
I’m assuming it happened in a recent SiteOrigin update.

    Hi Marilyn

    Thanks for reaching out.

Please, try editing the row in question, open the Layout section on the right when editing the row and change the Row Layout to Standard or Full Width.

Thanks, Andrew – this is what happens when I do that:

There wasn't white space on the right and left before – the image went right to edges of container.
That's what I'd like it to do again.

    Thanks for the feedback :)

The forum doesn’t support images but you can send using Imgur.com or the sharing site of your choice (Drive, Dropbox).

Please, could you set the Row Layout to Full Width, not Full Width Stretched and show me the result live on the site?

Okay – I've been changing it on /about page here:

    https://etfoassessment.ca/about/

It is Full Width Stretched now but used to be "contained" by content container.

Thanks. Go to SettingsPage BuilderLayout: Full Width Container. Remove the value there now and add:

    .site-content

You can then use Full Width Stretched for Row Layout.

    Thank you! That did it!
