Post Loop, hidden Text

Hi, I use the theme Vantage. On the Custom Homepage I post loop.

My post are created with the Page Builder (1. Headline, 2. Text, 3. Gallery PB). In the post loop me now the title of the post will be displayed first, then the headline and then starts the text.

How can I change the display that appears only the title of the post? Everything else should be eye hidden.

Thank you

    Hi Sascha

    To show just the title you can try adding the following to Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Home */

    .home article .entry-meta, article .home .entry-content { display: none; }

    Hello,

    Thanks for the help.

    Unfortunately it does not work. It appears still (1. Headline, 2. Text, 3. Gallery PB).

    Please remove that CSS and send me a link to the page / post concerned so I can take a look.

    Sorry, I’m not sure I’m with you. Perhaps this will help. Put all your post titles back in your posts. Now add this Custom CSS:

    /* Hide post titles on single post pages */

    article.post .entry-header h1.entry-title { display: none; }

    Thanks for your help,

    but unfortunately the header and the text from the Page Builder Page Loop is still displayed.

    I’m not sure if we understand each other correctly. As I leave the text from the German with google the compiled. Therefore, here’s a picture.

    I’m still not sure I’m with you. Are you saying you’d like to hide the excerpt in the Post Loop on the home page? If so, you can do that by removing the Excerpt content listed in the Except field on each post. Or using the following Custom CSS:

    /* Vantage Hide Post Loop Grid Excerpt */

    .vantage-grid-loop article .excerpt p { display: none; }

    Absolutely perfect, exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much. Now only the title is displayed in the post loop and not in the post. In the article the headline and the text from the Page Builder is displayed, but not the title. Perfect! Thanks for your patience and effort.

    Hello,
    unfortunately there is a difference whether I’m logged in the system or not. If I am logged in, the display is correct. If I am logged out, the display is not correct. And that is precisely what customers see.

    Here is a picture: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12684660/Vantage_II.jpg

    Thanks again for the help

    We see this from time to time, it’s almost always due to site caching. If you have a performance plugin installed please clear your site’s cache.
