Post carousel widget does not shift the pictures correctly

first of all A BIG THANKS for the idea to build sutch a widget.
I am using this widget from the version 1.7.1 with little enhancements:
1. additional displaying the excerpt of every post
2. display the header out of the alt attribut of the post picture.
3. with a little JS do a automatical shifting by internal pressing the shift buttons
4. some css adjustments.

All of these are enhancements and do not affect the internal processing of displaying the posts in the carousel.
You may have a look to the site with the old well functioing version 1.8.1 at:
If someone want to know how it was done, please contact me. You may offer this at an option in the future.

If I now do the update to the actual version 1.11.1 the internal program structure of this widget is a little different, but this is not the problem. The JS program to shift the displayed part is calculating false. It’s not much, but with 62 posts to display the first letter of the posts headline is not visible at the end of the long row.
I have stored a snapshot to show this problem, please visit:
At the end of the page you will see what I mean. The artist name Sella Hasse and the excerpt below is not jet readable.

Thanks for every answer!
Michael Franke.

    Hi Michael,

    To clarify, does this issue occur when using version 1.11.4 and with your changes reverted?

    OK, meanwhile the update to the version 1.11.4 is made.
    I’ve found the mistake and correct it by using a css command.
    In the original css file:
    at line 315 is written:
    .sow-carousel-wrapper ul.sow-carousel-items li.sow-carousel-item {
    width: 244.8px;
    This is false, because the needed value is 245px.
    In my child-theme css file I wrote:
    #sow-post-carousel-3 .sow-carousel-wrapper ul li.sow-carousel-item {
    width: 245px;
    and all works fine.
    Please go to: http://www.vdbk1867.de/
    and look to the bottom of the site.

    Please give me an answer why this value is set to 244.8px in your plugin.

    Hi Franke,

    The 244.8px is the size of the thumbnail minus 0.1% of the size of the thumbnail to ensure the thumbnail has room for spacing (which is applied elsewhere). If this value didn’t work for you, chances are your issue was caused by something elsewere in your custom CSS which doesn’t react well to the spacing.
