PDF Viewer overwrite content

3 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 3 years ago

Hi,

I have included a PDF with a preview.
In the Gutenberg it also displays it correctly.
On the website, however, the additional text is then covered by the PDF viewer.

What could that be?

My Site
problem is at the end of the page

    Hi Conny

    Thanks for reaching out.

Please, try a few troubleshooting steps to isolate the cause.

    – Temporarily switch to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen. Does the issue resolve? That’ll let us know if something in Vantage is causing the problem.
    – Temporarily deactivate all plugins in one go. Does the issue resolve? That’ll let us know if a plugin conflict is causing the problem.

Please, let us know how the tests go; we’ll advise further from there.

    Kind regards

    Andrew

I have deactivated all plugins by renaming the plugin folder.

But the problem is still avalible.

    Hi Conny

Thanks for the testing results. Perhaps the responsive videos script is an issue? With Vantage activated, please, go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Settings and disable the Enable FitVids setting. Does that help?

    tnx for you help.

    It sovled the problem.

Does I need the JS for including videos ?

    Hi Conny

Super; glad to hear that helped. FitVids handles responsive resizing for videos so perhaps just check your videos look ok on mobile without FitVids activated.

    Kind regards
