Thank you in advance for any assistance!
I’m working on a page on my website I haven’t messed with in awhile. At some point it reverted to classic editor, although I swear I had used Page Builder rows/widgets when I set it up. It was probably an update, or I deactivated the plugin at one point, or something similar.
I’m trying to update/edit the page, and I can’t find the parallax setting for a row that I recall using previously. Documentation and forum search indicates it should be in the design section for the row, but even following the instructions, I can’t find the setting.
Did this move to premium, or am I just an idiot. :)
Thank you,
Alyssa
Hi Alyssa
Sorry to hear about the hassles. When editing a row, you’ll find the Background Image setting in the Design section. Once you’ve added an image, the Background Image Display dropdown will be available.
Thanks for your response, Andrew! Much appreciated.
I’ve updated every plugin and theme (there are only 2 themes). I’ve tried creating a new page, using an old pic, uploading a new pic. Image Display is not an option.
The options I have are size, overlay and opacity, along with borders, etc. There’s nothing about parallax.
Hi, thanks for the update. It’s possible your theme is removing options. Here is what I see using our SiteOrigin Corp theme without SiteOrigin Premium installed:

It must be the theme, then. This is what I see:

I’ll fiddle with a different theme and see if that changes things.
Thanks, Andrew!
Thanks for the screenshot. What version of SiteOrigin Page Builder are you using?
Version 2.29.4 with WordPress 6.4.3 and PHP 7.4.33. Everything seems to be up to date.
Thanks. You can perhaps try temporarily switching to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen to see if the row options change.
I switched it to Vantage (which was the other theme installed.) The option is there now, so it was definitely the Sydney theme. Thanks, Andrew. I’ll play around with Vantage and see if I get the site to overall look the way I want.
Appreciate the help and suggestions!
Sounds good. Thanks!
