Pagebuilder compatibility Nex-Forms

Hi, I am trying to get a form from Nex-Forms to display through pagebuilder siteorigin editor widget. However, when i try to do so, the layout of the page is messed up and the form is not displaying properly. The author of the plugin claims that pagebuilder is preventing their Stylesheet from loading. Just wondering if anyone else tried using Nex-Forms with pagebuilder and if mine is an isolated case or is there really a compatibility issue between these 2 plugins and if there is any solution. The theme I’m using is Sydney Theme.

A note from SiteOrigin:
For anyone else reading this thread, we’d highly recommend not using Nex-Forms WordPress plugin. Before version 7, Nex-Forms was installable only as a seven-day trial. This is in violation of the guidelines and spirit of the WordPress.org plugin directory. There are plenty of feature-rich contact form plugins on WordPress.org plugin directory that comply with guidelines and don’t resort to these sorts of tactics.

    Hi Victor

    Thanks for posting.

I’d be happy to take a look but can’t create a form. I have all other plugins deactivated, a default theme and PHP 7.2.1 running. There are JavaScript errors in the plugin admin page preventing me from creating a form to begin testing this issue. Are you able to create forms?

Hi, as I’m using the paid version I am able to create the forms.

Can I give you a temp log-in into my site for you to test it out?

    Hi, I Work Here

Sure, no problem. It’s unlikely we can resolve this issue immediately but what we can hopefully do is either log a bug report on our side or point the plugin author in the right direction to add compatibility with Page Builder.

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    Private Snippet

Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and Private Snippet for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks.

For what it’s worth, the plugin also throws console errors on your site as it does in my test install:

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Victor,

I’ve tried to replicate this issues on a test site and unfortunately, I’m not having any luck. I’ve also been unable to use a copy of your form as the form export/import doesn’t work for me so I’ve had to create a new test form so that may be so that may be why I’m not experiencing similar results. Does this issue occur if you create a new form?

If so, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins (leave Nex Forms enabled) and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

If the plugin conflict test doesn’t help, can you please provide us with more information as to what the developer said – specifically, what isn’t outputting?

Hi, thanks for the replies and testing. According to the plugin developer, the plugin is unable to load its Stylesheet. I have tried disabling all plugins to no avail.

    Hi Victor,

Unfortunately, I’ve been unable to replicate this. Is there any additional context that the developer provided that may provide us with insight as to what is happening (or rather, not happening)?

    Hi Alex,

Is it possible for you to provide me with a screenshot on how you embed the form just in case I did something wrong?

Hi guys, thanks for all the support. I’m glad to report back that I solved the problem ‘kinda’. I reinstalled my WordPress Core, used a different theme and found the conflicting plugin to be Jetpack.
