Padding Hero Image and Slider

Hey there, I've read through a few threads on this and can't seem to find the right combination that works for my case. The SiteOrigin Hero has 40px of padding above and below.

No luck changing between themes also at times, would redirect me to a host error page. I have my pages imported/loaded, however I can not use/edit or update the webpage content and my published pages display as blank white pages.
