Can I have pages showing up there instead of blogposts. Can I select that only a certain numbers of posts are showing.

Menu Navigation Font confusion
The only difference between the 2, is that the original site was created on an earlier version of Vantage. I remember adding some custom css due to a recent update which changed the appearance of the menu.
Vantage Premium > Page Builder > Google Analytics Plugin by Yoast
