Layout Builder does not work as a widget in a footer

Hi guys I want to use Layout builder as a widget in my footer, but it does not work. SiteOrigin Editor does work, so is there a bug or what can it be? thx chris

Made latest update now i can’t save changes to my site

This happened today. I’ve disabled all plugins and siteorigin page builder is the culprit. I cannot save changes to my site now. Tried repairing the database and all that.. No dice. Any ideas?
