Page Title not responding to any changes.

First part of the question. Just to make sure. Is
Does the item found at – Appearance > Customize > Theme Design > Fonts > Page Title Size, control the appearance of any text in the entry box, above all the editing menus on an individual page with the title – Title:
If it does it does not seem to change the appearance at all.
So after reading another post I entered the following code:

/* Vantage Page Title */
article.post .entry-header h1.entry-title, article.page .entry-header h1.entry-title {
color: #AE1919 !important;
font-size: 20px !important;
font-weight: 500 !important;
line-height: 1.35em !important;
}

This too had no effect. Are they both trying to change the page title size/font/color? Or am I off on a wild goose chase?

NEVERMIND. I see now that the size of the page titles is covered in the theme setting tab. Sorry for the false alarm. This has been driving me crazy for a while now.
