I am trying to edit my homepage but when I click “Edit Homepage” and click “Install Page Builder,” I get the following error message:
Downloading install package from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/siteorigin-panels.zip…
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. /home/dkbusi5/public_html/collectivo.org/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/
Plugin install failed.
I bought the premium version hoping that would fix it but it still doesn’t work. Can you help?
Hi Collectivo
Thanks for running Vantage.
Please head to Plugins and confirm Page Builder isn’t listed there. If it isn’t you’ll need to login to your server via FTP or your hosting file manager and delete the siteorigin-panels folder found at:
/wp-content/plugins/
Once that is done you could try re-installing Page Builder via Plugins > Add New.
