Page Builder option disappears after Save Draft/Publish on pages and posts

Hello dear all,

Longtime user of Page Builder to create beautiful responsive pages, have always been very happy with it. Now, I believe after the latest update, as soon as I hit “save draft” or “publish” on a new post or page, the option to edit it in Page Builder just disappears.

So, when I hit “new page” or “new post”, the editor opens up and I can choose “visual”, “text” or “Page Builder”. After hitting “publish” or “save draft”, that last option disappears.

My WordPress updated automatically yesterday, but it was like this before that. Haven’t had this problem since before Site Origin’s latest update. I use the Flash theme by ThemeGrill, which is also up to date.

Please, any help or insights given would be very useful! Thank you in advance <3

Found this post about the same problem:

Thread: Page Builder button gone from page editor

    Hi there,

Thank you so much for answering this question, I seem to have the same problem (have posted about it a couple days ago). However, all the solutions provided here don’t seem to work. Googling the problem brings up many more people experiencing the same problem:

(the PageBuilder button disappearing from the editor, and making other plugins like Yoast and Google Analytics consoles disappear)

Would be very very very thankful for any help or insight in what to do with this.

    Much love and gratitude,

    Kayleigh

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Kayleigh,

To confirm, did you try running a plugin conflict test? If not, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Hi Alex,

    Thank you for your reply!

The problem appears to be with Google Analytics WD (by Web Dorado). As soon as both that plugin and the Site Origin Page Builder are activated, conflicts arise with post and page backend. Weirdly enough, portfolio seems to be fine. There were no conflicts until two weeks ago.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi KCSmith,

Unfortunately, I can’t seem to replicate this issue with that plugin.
Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look at this issue?
