2Hi Rccband,
We’re really sorry about this!
This issue is occurring due to your website using an older version of PHP – pre 5.6. We’ve logged this issue and will release a fix asap. In the meantime, you can avoid this issue by either upgrading PHP (you’ll need to reach out to your hosting provider about this – you want to upgrade to at least 5.6) or manually uninstall SiteOrigin Page Builder and then reinstall it.
For the latter, if you’re unfamiliar with FTP, you’ll need to reach out to your hosting provider for assistance. If you are familiar with FTP, please connect to your website and navigate to wp-content/plugins, delete siteorigin-panels. You’ll be able to access your website now, please open your website and navigate to WP Admin > Plugins > Add New and upload/activate this version of SiteOrigin Page Builder.
Hi Rccband
A quick follow-up. Have you been able to reach out to your hosts and ask them to upgrade your server to PHP 7+ or perhaps resolve using the alternative option above?
