Yes, the option is checked in PB settings.
Was using Vantage before, and it was working. It stopped working when I switched to Premium. If I switch to another theme, like Twentythirteen, the problem persists.
Active plugins are:
Black Studio TinyMCE Widget
Page Builder by SiteOrigin
SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle
Thanks for the wait.
Unfortunately not something I can replicate right now, locally. I tested on pages and posts. I don’t think this is related to Vantage, the theme is handling the front end presentation, copying content to the Visual/Text editors is happening before the theme gets involved.
Please can you confirm:
WordPress version
Black Studio version
Page Builder version
If you see updates pending under Dashboard > Updates please run them.
If you create a new page now and test with the Text widget does this still happen?
Do you see any Javascript errors in the console before or after saving the post:

I have disabled all plugins other than PB. Created new page and added one row with two widgets: Text and List (PB). No content is copied to the editor.
WP and plugins are all up-to-date.
There are no errors in the console at any point.
The last time we investigated this matter we were unable to find the source. The client landed up moving hosts for other reasons and the problem resolved. It’s possible it’s related to something at a hosting level, we’re just not sure what. In this regard, Sam’s comment here is worth a look: https://siteorigin.com/thread/page-builder-not-dumping-code-into-visualtext-tabs-on-posts/#comment-47466.
