Page Builder bug, impossible to edit existing pages details and create new

2 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 2 years ago

Hi,

My website is www.1001sentiers.fr
I’m using Create for years and most of my pages are made with SiteOrigin Page Builder.

But since few days I don’t succeed anymore to apply any modifications on the design of all my pages and articles, I can’t edit blocks specs and design on pages, I can’t modify variations on woocommerce articles, I can’t even modify the header’s background image and text color.

My website works for visitors without any trouble on the designs, but I can’t modify anything on it excepting texts, and none of these options are working if I try to create new personalized pages.

I firstly thought that it came from a bug on a recent update of the plugin, but nothing changes if I come back to the previous versions, even on anterior versions released before (november) the moment I’ve created and edited with success my last page (january).

I think my servor runs the latest version of php and my website, wordpress and plugins are fully updated.

When I open the developer inspector while trying to edit a page, I see the following error:
“TypeError: new Color(e).setHSpace is not a function. (In ‘new Color(e).setHSpace(b.options.mode)’, ‘new Color(e).setHSpace’ is undefined)”
But I don’t know how to fixe it.

I don’t know where it could come from, because it appears like this without major modification made on the system.

Did you heard about this?
Do you have an idea of where it could come from, what should I check or do to fixe it?
I would be glad to have any advice helping.
Thanks.

    Hi Greg

It sounds like there is an error on the page. When able, please try a quick plugin conflict test. For now, the goal is to find out if there is a working baseline available. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except for Page Builder and the Widgets Bundle. With only Page Builder and the Widgets Bundle activated (no other plugins activated), does the issue persist?

Thanks Andrew for your answer and advice, I’ll test this and let you informed.
