Page builder and polylang plugin

I have made this test page http://flobox.ee/test/.

I cannot set language for my widgets, what i doing :
1) add widget
2) make copy of it (want to show one for Estonian and second for Russian language)
3) on the widget settings page i choose “show this widget for Russian language”
4) save
5) after saving i go back to the widget settings page and i see that language is not set — “show this widget for ALL languages”

I don`t know maybe i am doing something wrong, maybe not, but i do not know how to fix it.

Need help.
Thank You.

    Hi Dmitri

Sorry we weren’t able to reply sooner.

I haven’t tested the Polylang functionality you mentioned above. Usually, we create a second page for Russian let’s say and link that to the primary language page. Put another way, have you tried creating one page for each language, linking the pages using Polylang and then just entering your content into Page Builder in each page as required?

    Hello Andrew!

    Thank You!

    I haven’t tried it.
I need to make multilingual static main page and i think that creating two different pages should not work here (because i can choose only one in settings for static page).

So i wanted to make one page with widgets and set different language for each of them.

    Example :
SiteOrigin Headline – set language “Eesti”
SiterOrigin Headline – set language “Russian”

And it works in Appearance -> Widgets but it doesn’t work while creating a new page with page builder. Strange.

Maybe there is some workaround to make it work? I can give you admin access, maybe it would be easier.

Thanks for your feedback. Polylang can indeed handle two different pages for your home page. One for each language. Whichever page is your home page from Settings > Reading you can link that page to the translated page.

Thanks for the login information, I’ll take a look shortly. The copying issue is caused by a custom field synchronization setting that can be disabled in Polylang.
