Hi, I made a one-page website following your youtube instructions. However when I enter the site with Google Chrome and click on some menu e.g. “o nama” or “kontakt” it wont scroll to that section on the website. On Mozilla it works fine. I tried on 3 more computers and the problem is the same with Chrome. Please help.

Hi Luka,
I’m not too sure how these menu items are working for you in FireFox but they’re not working for me in Chrome (or FireFox) due to the relevant row ids not being set. For example, the kontakt row doesn’t have the kontakt row id applied.
For reference, you can apply a row id by opening the row (click the wrench icon above the row) and head over to the row styles sidebar. Open the Attribute settings group and set the Row id to the relevant id you used in your menu.
Hi Alex, thank you for the response.
So I applied what you wrote and watched your youtube tutorial again so that
I am sure I did everything right. The problem is the same; it works in
Firefox but not in Chrome.
First I wrote"row-kontakt" in Pages –> Row Styles –> Attributes –> Row
ID –> "row-kontakt" (and for all the other rows) –> Update.
Then I went under Appearance –> Menus –> Pages –> Custom Links –> Link
Text: KONTAKT, URL: #row-kontakt –>Add to Menu –> Save Menu.
Still not working for Chrome.
Hi Luka,
Oddly, the links work for me in Chrome without issue… until the page finishes loading. This suggests that there’s a script on your website overriding the browser’s scroll functionality.
Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes this issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hi Alex,
So I disabled everything except Page Builder by SiteOrigin, SiteOrigin CSS and SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle. Then I went under Caching –> Purge All.
Then I cleared cache on FireFox and everyting on Chrome.
Nothing happened. :(((

Hi Luka,
To confirm, you temporarily changed the theme, correct?
If so, would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?

Hi Alex,
Just did that, hope you can figure this out.
Hi Luka,
Unfortunately, I can confirm your theme is causing this issue. You’ll need to get in contact with them to ask how to bypass this issue as I’m not to sure why they’re preventing the page scroll. Sorry mate.
Hi Alex,
Ok, thank you anyway for your time. Cheers!
