    Hi Chuk Yong,

To do this you’ll need to use the excellent WooSidebars plugin.

Once installed you’ll want to leave the main sidebar blank and then replace this blank sidebar when applicable with WooSidebars.

I’m curious, Chuk Yong – did this work? I’m trying to do what you want as well, and Alex’s reply says “leave the main sidebar blank” … which is not the same thing as having a default of no sidebar…or is it?? Can you pls let me know if this WooSidebars plugin enabled you to have all 3 options you listed? I’d appreciate it.

    Hi Chuk,

It is. If the main sidebar is empty, it’ll be hidden (as in it won’t affect the layout). Once you’ve navigated to a page that has a sidebar (as per WooSidebars), it’ll show the sidebar as normal.

    Hi Betty,

    Yep, worked as Alex mentioned.

If you want more control on other pages, it is easier to do so with WooSidebars.
