I have the Allow Comments box checked in quick edit menu, the Discussion box checked in the Screen Options menu and the Allow Comments box checked in the Discussion menu but I still do not have a comment section below the blog post.
Hi Matthew
Thanks for reaching out.
I can’t immediately see what the challenge is. Sounds like you have all the right settings in place. Can you quickly check your plugins list? Any chance you have a plugin installed that’s de-activating comments?
(Cool post, the RX7 is a nice guy’s replacement for the MX5)
I don’t see any plugins that have comments disabled. For whatever reason, it’s just no showing comments on this page. I made a sample post and the comments show up fine on that one.
Hi Matthew
Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:
[email protected]
Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.
Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.
