Hello,
While working on my website tonight, all of the full width stretched headlines broke and now are large text going vertically. Full width and standard look as expected. I received an email that Site Origin Builder updated about two hours ago, which coincides with when the problem started. I apologize but I don’t have a public site for you to view.
I tried disabling other plugins and using a different browser. The problem persists. I don’t even know how to roll things back and even if I can figure it out, I can no longer update in the future. Can this problem be fixed?
Hi, thanks for getting in touch. The issue should be resolved via the latest Page Builder update. If you haven’t yet updated, you can do so from DashboardUpdates within WordPress.
This was caused by the latest update that hit last night. There are no further updates for me to install.
Hi, 2.29.0 was released yesterday, and 2.29.1 was released today. If you’re using 2.29.1 and the issue hasn’t been resolved, please, let me know and I’ll pass your feedback onto our developer.
I am using 2.29.1 and the issue is still the same. I tried clearing my cache – are there other suggestions that could make the update take effect?
Thanks; I’ll forward your feedback now. You can try adding padding to the row via the Layout section.
Thanks. I’ll give it a try! Thanks, too, for the quick response. Happy new year!
Happy New Year! Apologies for the hassle. An update will follow as soon as we have news.
Hello,
We’re having trouble replicating this issue after 2.29.1. Do you perhaps have a public URL where we can look at your site? This should hopefully give us a better idea of what’s going on.
Kind regards,
Alex
Hello,
My website is not public but I can give you a screenshot. This used to be a headline stretched from edge to edge with a white background and black outline. Now it’s this: LINK. This also occurred on the image on my home page, which was also full width stretched. I took your suggestion of adding padding and it works (with small gaps) but I have hundreds of pages.
Thanks!
Hi
Thank you for the screenshot. To investigate this issue further we need to directly view the specific issue but I can respect your desire not to avoid that. As a temporary fix, you can apply a CSS patch to prevent this issue. Please add the following CSS to AppearanceCustomize, Additional CSS:
A few other users have provided us with access so we should hopefully be able to gather enough information about this issue and come up with a fix shortly.
Kind regards,
Alex
Hello,
Sorry for the delay in replying. I went to deploy this CSS workaround you’d provided and discovered a new update was out. The update fixed the problem! Thanks so much!!
Hi,
That’s great to hear. Please feel free to open a new thread if anything else comes up.
Have a good one.
Kind regards,
Alex
