Hello. I’m test driving Influence and Vantage Premium (have upgraded and updated both) for a WP blog I’m connecting to my web site. I love your themes so much that I may, in fact, replace my entire iPage hosted web site with your themes via WordPress.

As you can see, it’s a mess. I actually want my page to look like this:

Questions:
(1) How did Jerusalem Photo Workshop get his header to span the entire width of the screen? His site title and banner/header both span the entire page. How?
(2) Footer also spans the screen. How?
(3) I need to put copyright info at bottom of screen and a static set of social media icons centered in the footer. Again, how? I know how to use the social media widget, but can’t figure out how to center it on the page.
Thank you in advance. Also, I am more than willing to pay for help or someone to do this for me. Just point me in the right direction, please.

Jerusalem Photo Workshop is using Influence, at the moment you have Vantage activated. Do you perhaps want to switch over to Influence at Appearance > Themes and then take it from there?

Hello, Andrew. Whether I use Influence or Vantage, I cannot accomplish the full-width header using the CSS given on both help threads.
I’ve spent about 15 hours trying to get this to work without luck. So, can you tell me what CSS to use on *either* theme to get it to run the full width of the page? Also, I want to be able to have some control over the placement of my navigation bar. The themes justify them left but I’d like them centered.

If you’d like your site to look like Jerusalem Photo Workshop then switch over to Influence. There shouldn’t be any CSS editing required, Influence produces a full-width header by default. You can find the theme options under Appearance > Theme Settings and Appearance > Customize.
This is how Influence runs by default: http://demo.siteorigin.com/influence/. The header bar is full width but not the site.
What CSS were you trying to use with this theme?
To make Influence wider you can adjust the site width at Appearance > Customize > General.
Influence only has one menu setup, the setup you can see in the demo with a right aligned Menu button opening a right side drawer menu.

One more question: At the page at http://www.theannieoakley.com/blog/ I can see a tiny little “Home” on the upper left-hand side of the page. This doesn’t belong where it is. I can’t figure out how it got there, or how to get rid of it.

Sure.
Under Appearance > Theme Settings > Home Page, please check that you haven’t written Home in there for the Home Slider.
