More buttons not showing

How can we show the “more buttons” on the website? they are not showing. We’ve created the child theme to change some color aspects and image size aspects however even on the default theme they are not showing.

    Are you using the more quicktag to split posts? If so, have you set the Blog Archive Content setting to Full Content? You’ll find that setting at CustomizeTheme SettingsBlog.
