I have a similar issue to https://siteorigin.com/thread/no-access-to-media-library-through-vantage-theme/
I have disabled all plugins and tried. Still didn’t work.
I have cleared cache – even tried the links you suggested.
This is what happens – When I upload the files, I get a HTTP error on wordpress media library. The files however are there if I view them through the wordpress Media – Library menu page (ONLY WORKS IF THE MODE IS LIST, IF MODE IS CHANGED TO GRID THEN SAME ISSUE)
Basically I see that Circle with the progress radar going around and no images showing. This is when I try to upload an image – even in media slider. Thought I should reinstall wordpress – but then I tried changing themes to twentyfourteen – and everything was working.
So definitely a theme issue? (I had some custom code on functions.php – I also removed those and it still did not work)
Are there any other solutions you can think of? Such a shame if I have to stop using this theme for awhile :(
Hi Priom
Sorry to hear about the hassle.
Everything working in Twenty Fourteen would hint at a problem in Vantage. Perhaps try re-installing the theme. You can grab the theme ZIP file from the original order mail sent from SiteOrigin. If you need to recall that mail you can do so using this form:
Page: Retrieve Your Theme Order Numbers
Here are the manual installation instructions:
https://siteorigin.com/basics/updating-theme-from-zip/
You could also try taking a look at file permissions:

re-uploading a fresh copy of the theme worked :)
Thanks a lot, I probably should’ve tried that as standard troubleshooting. Silly me!
Awesome, glad to hear that did the trick.
