I have my logo sized properly in the menu only the padding on the left side is too extreme for my purposes and would like to move it further left. In fact I wouldn’t mind reducing the upper and lower padding as well. How might I do this?

For the menu height, please see CustomizeTheme DesignMenu: Menu Item Vertical Padding (px). Page: Menu.
The logo should already be at the edge of the menu inner container. It’s possible to change the width of this container using Custom CSS. That’s something we can assist within our premium support scope but unfortunately beyond the scope for our free support. You could also try using the visual editor in SiteOrigin CSS to change the max-width of the container in the menu: https://wordpress.org/plugins/so-css/.

I’ve been using your Vantage theme for over a year now and have liked it quite a bit. I’d pay for a Premium Version if there was one. I think I’ll go ahead and purchase your Premium Addons. I’m sure I could make use of some it’s functions and at least I’d be paying you all something.
