Lost all changes (history cache limitation?)

I am modifying the dowloaded Mono site.. After about 1.5 hours of editing I Suddenly lost all the changes – formatting as well as content (ex: text modified within the headline or editor widget).. This is the second time this has happened.. Even the history cache is empty so there is no way to restore it back… I wasn’t hitting ‘update’ between these changes as I wanted to complete all my changes before doing so, no all my changes are gone.. :(

Let me know what I should do so that this doesn’t happen again.

NOTE: No other plugins are installed except the SiteOrigin bundle (page builder, css, widgets)

    Hi Anil,

    The history lists edits made during the current page edit. So, technically, if you save the page the history is cleared.
    For long term history, we rely on the the WordPress revision system stores past changes.

    I can’t personally state why your page didn’t save correctly. Are you able to save a simple basic page? I ask because the server you’re on could very well be rejecting the data.
