Latest Version of Vantage Missing Things?

Resolved 3 replies technicalthemetheme-vantage

I have the latest version of WP and Vantage installed and I paid to be a premium user.

1. I cannot find out where to enter the code to unlock premium features.

2. I cannot see the slider mentioned in the sidebar so I can tweak it from the one that comes with the demo.

There are a few other things I don’t see anymore, can’t recall them at the moment, but I suspect if I get the answer to these two questions, I might get the answer to the rest.

Thanks!

I have figured out how to add the slider, but cannot seem to make it full width as the demo slider.

    Where is that control?

    Hi Jane,

The 1.5 premium update hasn’t actually been released yet. Said version will be released sometime this week. If you would like to make use of the premium features you’ll need to downgrade.

To downgrade please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceThemes and change to a non-Vantage theme. Then delete Vantage and then click Add NewUpload Theme. Upload and activate this version of Vantage. Then navigate to WP AdminAppearanceVantage Premium and click, Already Purchased? Follow the prompts. As mentioned, there is a slight version difference between the free and the premium version at the moment. The premium update will be released sometime this week.

If you wish to stay on the free version for the time being you can make use of the Vantage Documentation Documentation. Specifically the information about Home Page Slider.

To make the slider full width you need to set it to stretched. Simply open the same area as you found the slider settings (WP AdminAppearanceCustomizeTheme SettingsHome) and tick the Stretch Home Slider settings. If it’s still isn’t full width, you may need to set the slider as full width.

What happened was I had forgotten that I had to install Meta Slider which I did.

I will wait until you release the 1.5 and then update it thanks!
