Large space between first and second item in SiteOrigin Features

Hi, I am trying to create a new home page for a site that I created a while back (before I discovered the vantage and North themes) and I was intending on using the SiteOrigin Features widget, but when I tested it, there was a large space between the first and second item. The site is live, but this is just on a test page the url is https://www.swiftbathrooms.com.au/home-copy/. It’s the four horizontal squares beneath the vertical buttons (just ignore the vertical one, I was testing the two different methods, but prefer squares to mimic the logo). I am hoping it doesn’t have anything to do with the fact that I am not using one of your themes (I don;t really want to rebuild it). Kind regards, Lyndelle.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Lyndelle,

    This is happening due to the feature icon sizes being too large for the available area they’re added too and that’s mainly due to feature padding (basically, the space between each feature). You can reduce how noticeable this is by opening the SiteOrigin Features widget and heading over to the widget styles sidebar. Open the Attributes settings group and then set the Widget Class to sow-feature_no_padding and then save.

    If you navigate to AppearanceCustom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Add the following CSS:

    .sow-feature_no_padding .sow-features-feature {	padding: 0 !important;}

    How does that look? If you would like for the icons to fill the available area little more, consider increasing the icon size further.

    You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.

    Thanks Alex. Luckily this job went quiet, but I have just tried what you said and it worked a treat. I will try fiddling with the size of the icon now and see if I can get it the way I want. Kind regards, Lyndelle.
