Including information from an HTML file in a widget

7 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 7 years ago

I’ve got a weather page which needs to have some information from HTML files included. One of these files contains current readings, the other max & min since midnight, so they are regenerated and uploaded every 10 minutes.

The generated files are HTML snippets at present, they could be plain text or CSVs if that helped.

I want a way to include them in a row in a Site Origin page, so far not getting anywhere with it.

Anyone got any suggestions?

    Hi Cats_five,

Your best bet would be to create a custom widget and use that to output your data rather than using any existing widgets.

Unfortunately, this will require a fair amount of custom coding. This is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on our forums, but you could hire a developer to implement this for you. We recommend using Codeable. You’ll be able to hire someone at an hourly rate to do this work for you.
