    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Ibnmlr

    Thanks for reaching out.

To prevent the row background images from moving, edit each row in question, open the Design tab on the right and locate the Background Image Display display setting. Choose any of the options except for Parallax and Fixed. Do not use either of those two if you do not want your background images to move.

Thanks Andrew for your message !!!
I really put the image on the line and not in “siteorigen editor” so I did not see that option!
But by putting the image now in the “siteorigen editor” and putting any mode except parallax or fixed, the image remains fixed in the background without accompanying the normal page scroll. and putting it here it seems that it will create a border between the pages !!!!
I have tried all the options and nowhere does the image accompany the content to make it look like it is integrated into the page!
    thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the feedback. I’m not quite with you. To confirm, you want the image to accompany the content as you scroll? If so, using the row background image with either Fixed or Parallax should be enough. Keep in mind that in order to see the effect properly, the image should ideally, be quite large in dimensions (height). When using Parallax you can change the scroll effect by going to SettingsPage Builder and adjusting the Limit Parallax Motion.

Forgive me if I can’t explain,
I have tried all types and none is normal behavior (for what I want to do)

When doing scrool, the content of the image shown should be the same, accompanying the content …
however, or the image is fixed in the background and the image gap behaves like a window in which the image passes from the top to the bottom.

I imagine that the ideal thing would be to place the image inside the site editor but in that case not to place text above the image.

The fact is that I have a white text the image in the background to be in film loses readability, that’s why I want to accompany the text … but none of the options in design, background is working well, is it a cache thing? I’ve tried it in an anonymous window without cookies but it does the same always moves!

    Hi, I Work Here

I’m sorry, we’re losing a lot in translation. Have you seen an example somewhere of how this should behave? Something I can view? If there is no example you can send, please, remove the Patagonia background image from the widget level and insert it into row level, perhaps I can then see what the issue is.

A thousand forgiveness for the translation and your dedication to solve the problem, I appreciate it.

I have removed the image at the witget level and only left it at the row level!
Look in Patagonia that the condor changes places the moment you go up or down with the scrool.

I would like you to do as the next page that when up the image to accompany the same rhythm of the content
As in this image, the condor and the image moves all together:

Do you think it could be done?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Ibnmlr,

    Please disregard my previous reply.

The effect you’re using with the Patagonia is a fixed background. You can apply a fixed background a row by opening the row, going over to the Row Styles sidebar and open the Design settings group. Set a Background Image and then set the Background Image Display to Fixed.

Thanks once again for your response!

No settings appear in the row after placing the image. It only appears in the witget!

Would this place you refer to?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Ibnmlr,

Thank you for the screenshot. Your screenshot contains some non-standard settings that we’re not familiar with and the Background Image Display setting is missing. This happens if your theme or a plugin you have installed has modified these settings.

Is the [Background Image Display setting present in the Design settings group for rows? If so, please remove the Background Image from the Wiget and apply the Background Image directly to the row.

Thank you for your response !!!
I was not available yesterday! I am very surprised what you say, I have 2 installations with siteorigin (sydney) as the main theme and in both I have the same problem! and one of the installations is pretty clean with almost no plugins! It is possible that the sydney theme does not have this configuration?
Thank you very much for your attention and competence once again!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Ibnmlr,

Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear to be possible to disable the fixed background for rows and widgets in Sydney. Please reach out to aThemes, the developers of Sydney, to confirm if it’s possible to add a non-fixed background.

Wow, very thank for your help!
I didn't know that themes deactivate specific areas! I am even thinking about buying the site to have more freedom! Either way I will contact the
Sydney developer to see if I am available any solution on the matter!
I am going to a documentary about the original site to come on a modified theme!
    thanks for everything!

    Hi, I Work Here

No problem, glad we could assist. Hopefully, your theme developers can assist further.
