Image Grid widget, how to open Url link in new browser window

10 years ago · Last reply by badcat 9 years ago

Hi,

It’s great that the URL linking in the image grid works now. How do I set it such that when I click on an image, the URL opens in a new browser window instead of the current one ?

    Hi Vincx

Very sorry about the late reply. We work through a prioritized forum queue, and unfortunately it’s taken us some time to get to your thread.

Because it’s been a while since you posted this, would you mind letting us know if you still need help? If so, we’ll jump right in.

    Hi,

Yes, I still need help on it.

    Thanks.

    Thanks :)

I’ve dug around a bit now, unfortunately, at the moment this will need to be logged as a feature request. It’s a new widget so I’m sure we’ll see more options being introduced soon.

What about swapping to a regular WordPress gallery and using Jetpack Tiled Galleries?

That would let you link images to the media or attachment page. In Page Builder you can add a regular gallery via the SiteOrigin Editor or Visual Editor plugin.

Thanks, think I'll manage with the regular gallery.
