Icomoon icons display as &

I am picking up a thread started on the WordPress Widgets Bundle support forum, trying to resolve this test page (http://gwpapers.virginia.edu/widgets-bundle-test/). I won’t be able to give admin account access unfortunately since the site is behind a university secure network that requires additional network credentials to access. Would it be possible to instead Skype and do a screen share instead?

    Hi

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    Private Snippet

Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and Private Snippet for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Hi,

I have created it, but you won’t be able to access the wp-admin page. When I am offsite I have to use a vpn to access the site due to the security at the University of Virginia. If you are unable to get to the login page, would it be possible to Skype and screen share instead?

    Hi Efc8d,

Thanks. Unfortunately, we’re unable to access your website. We have another user who reported a similar with Icomoon so we’ll try working out the issue through their website and if we’re unable too we’ll come back to yours. Is that okay?

    Yes, that is ok. Thanks.

Hi :) Sorry for the delay. We’ve isolated this problem to PHP 5.2. If you’re able to upgrade your server to PHP 7.3+, that should resolve the problem. If you can’t, even PHP 5.4 seems to resolve this problem. Thanks!
