How to keep the menu under the custom header

How do I move the main menu under the custom header. I tried to follow the instruciton in this link (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-move-menu-below-header-image-in-twenty-twelve-theme) but the header.php of Vantage does not contain the entries suggested in the link.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jonas

    Thanks for your question.

All WordPress themes completely overwrite their entire folder during theme updates. Please, don’t make any modifications to the Vantage theme files via AppearanceEditor or any other means. If needs be you can modify Vantage or any other theme but it must be done via a child theme.

Most of the functionality of Vantage Premium is now in the free version. You can add widgets to the footer widget area from AppearanceWidgetsFooter. Copyright text can be added from AppearanceTheme SettingsGeneralSite Information Text.

I’m not quite following your main question. Vantage has two header layouts. Default and Logo in Menu. You can switch between the two from AppearanceCustomizeLayoutMasthead Layout.

The Vantage documentation has been recently re-written and can be found here: Page: Vantage Documentation.

Thank you. That worked. Now, am I allowed to remove the “A SiteOrigin Theme” text from the footer?

    Hi, I Work Here

Super, glad to hear you’ve made progress.

Our themes and plugins are released under the GPL license so you’re free to edit code as you’d like. We’re launching a new plugin in the next few days called SiteOrigin Premium. The Attribution module in SiteOrigin Premium will remove the attribution link. Check it out when it launches.
