How do I change the banner image in Free Vantage theme

I have tried everything. Read everything. And the banner image is not only NOT changing, but has disappeared completely.
I really need some help to get my image to show up. It has worked on my other Vantage theme sites, but not on my newest site. This is really frustrating and disappointing from such a good organization as SiteOrigin.

    Hi Kaye,

    The slider you’re referring too is purely a demo slider. You can’t directly edit it but you can replace it quite easily with a Meta Slider. Once you’ve created your replacement slider, please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, ThemeHome and set the Home Page Slider to your newly created slider.
