Basic environment
I’m using Word Press 4.9.2. SiteOrigin’s page builder and siteorigins-panels looks like it just updated Jan 23.(vers. 2.6.2) I have it on auto update.
New behavior
Everything has been working just fine until about 4 to 7 days ago. Now when viewing home page I click on “edit home page” at the top of the page. This brings up the “Custom Home Page” edit page which is properly populated with all rows, widgets, columns etc. there and editable. However if I click on “edit as page” the “Edit Page” window comes up OK with all of the panels present — but there is no information in the edit panel which should contain the rows, widgets, columns etc. Simply blank.
The URL for the home page edit page with input is
https://www.DomainName.net/wp-admin/themes.php?page=so_panels_home_page
The URL with input for the “edit as page” button when pushed is
https://www.DomainName.net/wp-admin/post.php?post=56&action=edit
All of the other pages come up properly in their “edit as page” and are editable.
Do you think there is a corruption of the data base or something else going on. If it is a corruption of the data base how would one fix the problem.
Thanks
Like magic it started working again. Don’t know why but it is hard to fix something that is not broken.
