Home Page edits Ok but “edit as page” button comes up empty

Basic environment I’m using Word Press 4.9.2. SiteOrigin’s page builder and siteorigins-panels looks like it just updated Jan 23.(vers. 2.6.2) I have it on auto update. New behavior Everything has been working just fine until about 4 to 7 days ago. Now when viewing home page I click on “edit home page” at the top…
